I started doing makeup when I was super young, as I grew up I kept getting more and more compliments from people wanting to get their makeup done by me, which made me believe I was good for this. In the beginning, I was very hesitant because of how competitive the world of beauty and cosmetics is, but I decided to give it a try anyway. At first, I would just do my makeup for myself and take pictures of my work without thinking about it, until I realized I wanted to share what I did with other people. The fact that I sometimes get comments saying that they like what they see, or that they think one of my “eye-looks” is beautiful, makes my day.

Makeup has really helped me in many aspects; it has made me become a perfectionist and has opened my mind up to creativity. After growing up in Venezuela, I moved to the United States and have lived here for a while now. I’ve had a lot of ideas in developing my own blog, doing makeup recommendations to help people and inspire them to be different in any way that I can. For me, my style follows a very “60’s and 70’s vibe”.

Shape Tape Concealer by Tarte Cosmetics
Total temptation mascara by Maybelline

Believe it or not, my makeup routine takes me about 20 minutes to do. I always go for semi-matte “glowy” skin; I love using the Bobbi Brown Face Base as a primer, and my Touche Éclat foundation by Yves Saint Laurent. I always do concealer on my under eyes no matter what, so far I’ve been loving the Dior Forever concealer. I then set my face with the Airspun loose powder, and I’m ready to go. In terms of eye makeup, I like thick eyeliner and lots of mascara, I use the L’Oréal Lash Paradise and the L’Oréal infallible liquid liner. I love the 60’s mod eye looks; the really big eyes, and the super minimalist trend. For my eyebrows, I just use a Maybelline brow pencil in the shade “Blonde”, I always like for my eyebrows to be light, never dark!

To bronze up my skin, I use the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer to contour. My all-time favorite Colourpop highlighter for my lips is the “Kat Von D Lolita 2 liquid lipstick” from Guilty Pleasure. I also love the Fenty beauty lip paint in Unbutton and the Colourpop Lux lipstick in Uno Mas.
